Indirect restorations have a long track record of proven success and yet many factors contribute to the durability and longevity of these restorations. One of the critical decisions clinicians will need to make has to do with retention of the indirect restoration: Will the restoration be conventionally luted or adhesively bonded to the prepared tooth?

Speaker Bio

Dr. Darin Dichter is originally from Portland, Oregon and has been in private practice since 1995. He pursued his undergraduate work at the University of Oregon and is a graduate of the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. After 17 years in general practice Dr. Dichter entered UCLA’s 3-year graduate program where he earned a certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics.

Focusing on education, Dr. Dichter has been a full-time instructor with Spear Education since 2014. His current teaching portfolio encompasses hands on workshops, live and recorded lecture format programs and study club programs. In addition, he is currently a guest lecturer at Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine and has previously served as a guest lecturer and clinical instructor at Oregon Health Sciences University.

He maintains a private practice located on the Spear Campus in Scottsdale, Arizona.
